Law Reform
Admittedly, the law reform & regulatory review is the core responsibilities of Lao legislators and public administrators, notably for legislative reforms and regulatory changes, including those relating to land and real estate, banking, concessions, investment, mining, environment protection, international trade, bankruptcy, and non-court dispute resolution. Our lawyers have continuously explored empirical studies for the relevant authorities and are actively involved in ongoing discussions on policy and legal reforms. We have been assisting the Laos government, its related agencies, and government-owned entities on various policy and legal reform initiatives and translating legislation from Lao into English to ensure Lao legal expressions be understood in meaningful English legal terms.
